A shielded 30 kV quality cable is used, the cable length is freely selectable by the customer. You can find a corresponding ordering procedure in catalog 2016 on page 22.
Series S is available in four sizes for operating voltages from 10 to 40 kVDC (testing voltage 15-60 kVDC) at a rated current of up to 30 A (max. continuous current 40 A, surge current 3000 A). The insulation material PTFE corresponds to combustibility class UL94 V-0 as well as the insulation group 1 according to DIN IEC 60664 with a CTI 600 tracking resistance.
The robust metal housing is made of nickel-plated brass, corresponds to protection class IP50 when mated and is locked by a screw cap. On socket side Series S is available either with square or round flange and can be optionally equipped with silver or gold-coated 2.5 mm solder contacts for cross-sections up to AWG 14 (2.5 mm²).
